Andrea Ruege

Frame Left Andrea Ruege is an associate attorney with Bertini Law. Her practice focuses on employment law matters, litigation, business litigation, Virginia Unemployment Claims and Appeals, and personal injury litigation.

Ms. Ruege grew up in Hampton Roads. She is a graduate of the University of Virginia where she double majored in English and Government and was actively involved with Madison House, UVa’s Volunteer Center. After college, Ms. Ruege worked for a large defense contracting company. As a student at the Charleston School of Law, Ms. Ruege served as the Student Works Editor of the Federal Courts Law Review and as President of the Student Bar Association and interned with the City of Charleston’s Legal Department.

Ms. Ruege lives in Ghent with her dog, Margo. In her spare time she enjoys reading, running, and cooking. She is an avid sports fan and loves to root for her Wahoos! Ms. Ruege is the Chair of the Young Lawyers’ Section of the Norfolk Portsmouth Bar Association, a board member of the UVa Club of Tidewater, the Director of Legal Affairs for the Hampton Roads Society for Human Resource Management, and the Secretary of the Ghent Dog Park Association.


Ms. Ruege is licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Virginia and has been admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.
